pictures from soaking

these are some of the images received by our group during soaking session last sunday

noticed that the rainbow was received by more than one..

Genesis 9:12-16
12 And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."

what did God tell you about the pictures?
what have you learnt..?

Give, and it will be given to you.. Luke 6:38

Auntie Anne taught about giving (a heaping heart) from last sunday's memory verse in Luke 6:38

i pray that God give all of us a loving, giving heart, that gives simply because we have received His salvation and His amazing endless love which cannot be contained in our hearts, because He gives us sooooooo much, it just overflows...

what would you like to give today?
what else can we give? :)

More verses on giving

Romans 12:13 — “Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Proverbs 19:17 — “He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done.”

Mark 12:43-44 — “Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, ‘I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.’ ”

2 Corinthians 9:6-9 — “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: ‘He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.’ ” [quoting Psalms 112:9]

1 John 3:16-19 — “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence ...”

Acts 4:32 — “All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.”

Mark 10:21 — “Jesus looked at him and loved him. ‘One thing you lack,’ he said. ‘Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.

1 Timothy 6:6-7, 17-19 — “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. ... Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.”

so here it is.. share your testimonies, visions, prayers and anything learnt that might be encouraging..

you're His little miss sunshine!

shelly - heart of precious stones, a really beautiful heart that is so precious to Him

shine for Jesus and bring light to those in need

The LORD is my light and my salvation: Whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1)

"I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." (John 8:12)

as i was looking for a picture of a lighthouse, i found a song titled lighthouse and its lyrics

thanks wanting & joy-anne for sharing words of encouragement & vision of shepherd of a thousand sheep, and thanks jasmine for sharing and asking questions, i love what you said about loving ourselves as how God made us. thanks to all for your responses and constantly assuring me that you were listening.. i'm much blessed & encouraged by you all!
